Yoko is a business development, commercial strategy and people development leader with more than 12 years of experience across consulting, energy, digital, events and institutional sectors in Ghana. She has led business development for HR and consulting firms, digital advisory companies and training institutions, and has secured major corporate sponsorships and partnerships for the Inter Tourism Expo and Accra Marathon.

As General Manager and Marketing Manager in the petroleum sector, she directed sales, marketing and operations, negotiated high-value contracts, built accountable teams and put in place governance controls for sustainable growth. She is also the published author of The Faithful Not Voiceless, an advocacy work on social impact and community empowerment.

This mix of commercial strategy, operations, partnerships and people development is exactly what GMBS needs to turn skilled artisans into structured, profitable enterprises. Yoko is a leader who keeps learning and uses that knowledge to lift others, which makes her the right person to build and run this organisation.
